I can’t wait to learn about Peru’s pre-Columbian history while visiting the Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology! The museum boasts an exquisite collection of documents from the development of every major culture and civilization in Peru. After my overview of Peru’s history, I’ll visit the Larco Herrera Museum that holds the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian including examples of textile work, tools that ancient Peruvians used in their everyday life, huaco ceramics and gold and silver pieces with precious stones!

Gold Museum & Indian Market

While vacationing in Lima, Peru, I’ll take a joyride to Monterrico to visit the Gold Museum! I’ll admire its priceless collection of ancient pre-Columbian silver and gold artifacts along with its amazing arms collection with an impressive exhibition from Spanish colonial times. Before heading back, I’ll stroll along the Indian Market and pick up some local handicrafts and souvenirs!
