My wife Debbie planned this trip last year so I could visit my mother for Thanksgiving in Oahu, but we had to cancel our trip since the doctor didn't want us to travel at that time. Debbie had re booked it for this year and now we are going this August.

Our family usually travels every year, but since I was diagnosed with cancer and put on the liver transplant list the doctors advised us to not travel, however we have gotten the okay for this trip.

This trip is way over due for my family they have been very patient in this waiting process, but it's time for us to have some fun and build memories

Debbie is a travel agent so she has us flying into Kauai for 5 nights and has rented a private house on the beach in the Hanaeli area, then we fly to Oahu were we will be staying at the Outrigger On The Beach in an oceanview room then we will be staying a couple of days of my "Dream" hotel the "Royal Hawaiian" I've always wanted to stay there. 

Since my mother and sister live in Oahu we will get to visit with them

Debbie being a travel agent was able to use many of her travel points for our hotel and air so her perks have been a blessing
