Headed to Disney World for your Anniversary this year? Here are some of the most romantic things you can do while having fun at the park.

By Hannah Purvis

Disney is no stranger to creating magical experiences for guests of all ages, which is why many adults frequent the property to celebrate milestones such as weddings, honeymoons, and anniversary trips. While so much of the park and resort areas are geared towards families, some of the restaurants on the property are known to offer up uniquely romantic atmospheres perfect for couples looking to celebrate their anniversary in style. Here are 8 restaurants with romantic dinner ideas we recommend trying on your special day.

Be Our Guest!

1. Morimoto Asia

One of my absolute favorite dining spots on the property – Morimoto Asia – is located in the Disney Springs shopping and dining area. Created by world-renowned Chef Mashaharu Morimoto, this upscale Asian restaurant serves top-of-the-line cuisine in a modern and moody atmosphere. We recommend the Japanese A-5 Wagyu beef which is not only the finest certified cuts of beef, but also prepared tableside in a stunning display.

2. Victoria & Albert's

If you’re looking for a spot that is not only romantic, but incredibly exclusive – book a table at Victoria & Alberts. Located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this signature dining experience is top-notch and top-dollar! The price tag gives diners access to a collection of over 500 wines and is considered the ‘Culinary Crown Jewel’ of the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida.

Splendidly decorated with views of over 30 species of wildlife right out the window, a dinner at Sanaa will unlock your inner child and provide a dinner filled not only with bold flavors, but with genuine joy! The menu boasts dishes with Indian and African flavors and flair and guests can start their date night at the Sanaa Lounge with handcrafted cocktails or wine flights.

Book a romantic dinner at California Grill for upscale dining with a view! Not only can you see over the stunning resort area surrounding the Seven Seas Lagoon, but diners can also enjoy park views of the nearby Magic Kingdom. Imagine watching the nighttime fireworks from way up there!

This restaurant sits on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and serves food that aligns with the popular flavors and techniques of peak California Dining. The restaurant asks guests to dress in style to keep with its sophisticated atmosphere!

5. Flying Fish

Spend your anniversary evening strutting along Disney’s Boardwalk area to watch the sunset, then stop into Flying Fish for a tasty seafood dish. The atmosphere of this restaurant is upscale, yet inviting and guests are sure to enjoy watching their meals get prepared through the open kitchen! If you’re feeling up for a sweet treat after dinner, head over to the ice cream parlor just a few steps away on the boardwalk.

If you’re looking for high-quality surf and turf, then this spot is for you! The Boathouse, sitting on the water at Disney Springs, offers guests delicious seafood and steak options with a view and features boats on display from the early 1900s.

Want to step your romantic night up a notch? The Boathouse offers guests the ability to book guided lake tours in their own floating amphicar! This experience is truly one of a kind and will definitely make for a memorable anniversary dinner.

Sitting atop one of Disney’s newest resorts – The Riviera – is Topolino’s Terrace, a trendy eatery serving up Italian and French cuisine. The colors and textures of the decor provide a trendy and authentic setting, reminiscent of the French Riviera. When a spending dinner at Topolino’s Terrace, guests can enjoy bold flavors and wine sourced directly from the Mediterranean coast.
