Is Disney World Good for a Bachelorette Party?

The amazing thing about Disney is that it is truly a place for everyone.

No matter what you’re celebrating, there is something there for you. In fact, we think the Disney Parks in Orlando happen to offer quite a few activities that would make for an exceptionally memorable bachelorette experience.

When is the Best Time to Go to Disney World?

If we’re being honest, Walt Disney World is truly busy year-round.

This makes sense, because with it being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, there are guests coming from just about everywhere. That’s a wide variety of different schedules to consider!

But don’t fret, there are times of the year that are good for different types of trips.

If you’re looking to avoid large swells of younger crowds, consider skipping the summer months as well as the month of March, as this is when many students are on break! Also, keep in mind that the Florida hurricane season is from June to November, and you’ll likely encounter some of the unpredictable passing rainstorms of Florida, especially within that time frame.

Other unique times to consider are the parties and festivals that take place throughout the parks during the different seasons. If these are something that you want to incorporate into your Bachelorette outing, be sure to check the dates and make sure you don’t need a special ticket (as the Magic Kingdom events are typically after hours).

  • EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts
  • EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
  • EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival
  • Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
  • Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

What Is the Average Cost of a Bachelorette at Disney World?

It’s hard to give a specific number in terms of price when it comes to planning a bachelorette party in Walt Disney World. However, there are a few factors to consider that will cause price fluctuations. So by paying close attention to what you want to prioritize on your trip, you’ll be able to budget accordingly.

  • Quick service vs. table service
  • Staying on property vs. renting a local Airbnb as a group
  • Paying for parking each day vs. free on-property resort transportation
  • Choosing 1 park vs. buying park-hopper passes

Things to Do in the Disney World Parks

If you decide to spend time in the parks on your trip, there are quite a few activities to keep you occupied. You can enjoy a classic park day and spend time:

  • Enjoying the shows
  • Sampling themed snacks
  • Riding as many rides as possible

You can also look for specialty activities in the different parks, such as the Wild Africa Trek in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, that will allow you to get up close and personal with the different animals in the park. Or, perhaps you’re a Disney junkie and want to learn more about the backstage magic made via the Keys to the Kingdom tour!

Below are some fun and unique ways to enjoy the magic with your closest gal pals while exploring the parks:

  • Drink around the world in EPCOT
  • Wild Africa Trek
  • Magic Kingdom Dessert Party
  • Character Dining
  • Keys to the Kingdom Tour
  • Behind the Seeds Tour

Things to Do Outside of the Disney World Parks

Sometimes the best part of being on Walt Disney World property is just to enjoy the peace and beauty of the resorts. Each resort area on Disney property is impeccably manicured and designed with theme, comfort, and customer service at the top of mind. Basically, this means that you don’t even have to step foot in the parks to be completely enveloped in Disney Magic.

Here are a few of our favorite non-park activities to enjoy while on the property!

  • Enjoy a spa day at The Grand Floridian Spa
  • Mini Golf at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways
  • Shop at Disney Springs
  • Take a private boat cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon
  • Enjoy dinner with a lively show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
  • Rent a cabana poolside and spend the day soaking up some sun

Where to Stay at Walt Disney World

There are over 30 resorts on Disney property, so you have a wide variety of options to choose from depending on your group size and budget. If you really want to save money on a large group, we recommend renting a local Airbnb and using rideshares to get to the parks to avoid paying for parking!

The downside of this is that it’s harder to use on-property transportation, and you won’t have access to the beautiful hotel pools. If you do decide to stay on property, these lodging options are the best for large groups!

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

This resort and campground sits on a beautiful stretch of wooded land and evokes a sense of adventure and the classic charm of the American Frontier. The cabins sleep up to six people and are close to various amenities and recreational activities. Plus, they are dog friendly and able to be decorated, to showcase your celebration!

Treehouse Villas

The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa can sleep up to nine people, which makes them a great option for your bachelorette group. Not to mention they are extremely close in proximity to the shopping, dining, and entertainment district on the property, Disney Springs.

Art of Animation

If you truly love the Disney animated classics, then you’ll enjoy this over-the-top value resort, with colorful and bold character theming. Offering one of the most affordable rates on property, Art of Animation is a great option for groups as they have family-sized suites that sleep up to six people!

Restaurants

You can’t go wrong when dining at Disney World. Everything is a culinary treat, mixed with that special Disney magic that simply can’t be found elsewhere. Below are some of our favorite spots on the property to grab a bite! We highly recommend planning out a few dining options in advance and making reservations, as things tend to book up quickly during the busy seasons.

  • Beaches and Cream Soda Shop
  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
  • California Grill
  • The Boathouse
  • Cinderella’s Royal Table

Bars

Who says Disney isn’t for adults too? With amazing entertainment, world-class dining spots, and new trendy bar options, we have to disagree. A bachelorette party spent exploring any of these bars will surely make for a great night!

  • Trader Sams
  • Wine Bar George
  • The Eddison
  • Jellyrolls
